We're in the time before dark
unfurls its verdant wings
and soars from the frame
leaving this stage for another some miles away
absence of dark is light within itself,
a negation of a negative,
with no walk on stage to mark its entry
just a brief instant of polarised change

a brief two-verse poem i wrote inspired by some biffy clyro lyrics. it was originally just one verse (written on my arm because i didnt have a piece of paper to hand at seven in the morning).
